- Attacks moving & mobile maritime & land targets
- Compatible with multiple weapon systems
- Low-cost, day or night, adverse weather solution
THE PROBLEM
Future Navy guided weapons require increased capability to attack moving and stationary targets in all weather conditions. Adding these new asymmetric targets requires flexible and low cost weapon solutions to prosecute these highly mobile threats.
THE SOLUTION
DASH is a dual mode, low-cost, compact, adverse weather seeker compatible with multiple weapon systems for attacking maritime and land targets. Mustang is developing the radar sensor.
THE APPROACH
The DASH radar sensor leverages Mustang’s successful development of affordable radar sensors for DoD applications. By utilizing the forward fuze mold line, the seeker already meets many flight qualification requirements which will ease it into the inventory.
THE TECHNOLOGIES
Low-cost, high-performance radar; RF and digital electronics; real-time signal processing; advanced algorithms; efficient, low-cost tests.
